ABOUT ME
My name is Carolina Miranda and I am a photographer based in Lisbon. I photograph events and portraits across the city: private celebrations, launches, dinners, corporate gatherings, and portrait sessions on location.
My approach is candid and involved. I arrive early, spend the evening among the people in the room, and photograph connection as it happens rather than arranging it. Portraits move slower, with enough time to get past the pose.
I photograph in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Open to collaborating with venues, bars, restaurants, DJs, event organizers, and brands in Lisbon. Content in exchange for access, credit, and a shared post. Write to hello@mirabycaro.com.

HOW DO I BOOK YOU FOR AN EVENT?
Send me an email at hello@mirabycaro.com with the date, location, type of event, and any details you’d like to share. I’ll get back to you within 48 hours with availability and pricing.
WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
I work with different types of commercial photography:
- Event photography: private celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, dinners, launches, and corporate gatherings
- Portrait sessions: individuals, couples, and small groups, photographed on location around Lisbon
- Historical Lisbon walks: a guided walk through the older parts of the city with photographs along the way, by request
All sessions run in English, Spanish, or Portuguese. Images are delivered in a private online gallery, ready within a week.
CAN YOU ORGANIZE A FULL-SERVICE SHOOT?
Yes, within a defined scope, and it is worth being clear about what that means.
I work with natural light and portable flash rather than a full studio lighting setup. For shoots that need a controlled environment, I arrange a rented studio or location in Lisbon and build the shoot around it. Studio hire is billed at cost and added to your quote.
What I coordinate:
- Location scouting and booking, studio or on location
- Scheduling and a shot list agreed before the day
- Lighting suited to the space, natural where possible and flash where needed
- Editing and delivery in a private online gallery
DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE LISBON FOR EVENTS?
Yes. I’m available across Portugal and the Iberian Peninsula. Travel costs may apply depending on the location. I’ll include everything in your quote.
HOW SOON AFTER THE EVENT OR SHOOT WILL I RECEIVE THE PHOTOS?
Within 7–10 days for events. You’ll receive a private online gallery with all edited images in high resolution, ready to download and share.
DO YOU WORK WITH BEGINNER MODELS?
Yes, I often work with beginners. I guide posing and help create the right mood so the final images look natural and professional.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Life happens. Cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before your session at no charge. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a fee. I’ll always try to find an alternative date first.
